From 12 October to 9 November Gyz La Rivière presented Han Solo, his first exhibition since founding the HuMobisten in 2000, at the Cokkie Snoei Gallery. This show features La Rivière’s work consisting of photographs, objects, installations and a video focusing on ‘falling and letting go’. Han Solo is the classic example of the adventurer with the golden heart in the movie Star Wars. In Han’s personality virtues like courage and companionship are combined with vices like cupidity and debauchery.

Het is zijn eerste solo show sinds hij in 2000 de HuMobisten mede oprichtte. Onder de titel Han Solo laat La Rivière foto's, objecten, installaties en een video zien, waarin de psychologie van vallen en loslaten centraal staat. Han Solo is de klassieke vrijbuiter met het gouden hart uit de film Star Wars. In zijn karakter worden moed en kameraadschap gekoppeld aan menselijke zwakheden als geldzucht en losbandigheid.
